After nearly 42 years at Birmingham Vision Care, I will retire this January. It has been amazing to watch the practice grow sevenfold in size since I first started. Over my career, I have enjoyed learning about advances in the field and keeping up-to-date on the newest innovations. Our practice has consistently offered cutting-edge technology and many specialty areas.
The best part of being an optometrist for me has been seeing and getting to know so many wonderful patients year after year, all of whom I will miss dearly. It has been a privilege to watch my patients grow up, get married, venture into new careers, and move on to the following stages of their lives. I delight in seeing multiple generations of the same family in my exam chair.
My passion has always been helping vision therapy patients reach their potential. I am happy to have contributed to their growth and development and impacted their lives.
