Birmingham Vision Care

Dr. Pelton Is Retiring

After nearly 42 years-at Birmingham Vision Care, I will be retiring this January. It has been amazing to watch the practice grow and increase seven-fold in size since I first started practicing. Over my career I have enjoyed learning about advances in the field and keeping up to date on the newest innovations. Our practice has always offered cutting edge technology and many specialty areas.

The best part of being an optometrist for me; has been, seeing and getting to know so many wonderful patights year after year, all of whom (wil miss dear). it has been a privilege to watch my patients grow up, get maried, venture into new careers, and move on to the next stages of their lives. I take spectai delight in seeing multiple generations of the same family in my exam chair.

My special passion has always been helping vision therapy patients reach their potential. l am happy to have played a part in their growth and development and have an impact on their lives.

I have the utmost confidence in your continued care with the very accomplished doctors and staff at Birmingham Vision Care. The doctors offer a wide range of specialties, which include vision therapy, myopia management, specialty contact lenses, and disease management and treatment. l am certain you will be in very capable hands.

Thank you for entrusting me with your eyecare. You have made coming to work so enjoyable:

Harriet C Pelton, O.D., F.C.O.V.D
